We have two planning committees that you're invited to join!

The Fundraising and Promotions committee meets every other Thursday to plan events, promote the project and organize fund raising efforts at McCue Mortgage, One Liberty Square, New Britain, CT 06051 (get directions here)

The Design committee meets every other Tuesday at McCue Mortgage, One Liberty Square, New Britain, CT 06051 (get directions here). We're selecting of roses that we will be planting and crafting the overall design and feel of the garden. Planting will begin in the Spring of 2010!

Past Events:

Planting Day was Saturday April 10, 2010 from 9 am to 12 noon at the World War I Memorial in Walnut Hill Park. We had over 217 volunteers and NB Parks & Recreation staff on hand to help put over 750 roses into the ground. Volunteers brought their own garden tools - pruning shears, trowels, shovels, rakes, gloves and knee pads. Refreshments were provided.
